Enchanted Estate

Enchanted Estate

New Construction & Hardscaping

Right from the start, the owners of this inspired home were very clear about what they expected: absolute quality and perfection. And the homeowners made a point of using local artisans and craftspeople to help bring this magnificent vision to fruition.

Called “Strikingly Majestic” by Architectural Digest, this beautiful estate was designed by Peter Pennoyer Architects of New York. Recalling the country house architecture of Grosvenor Atterbury, Voysey, and Edwin Lutyens, the home is constructed in brick, softened by natural whitewash with gray limestone bays, sills, corbels, and columns. The tall slate roof is accented by groups of dormer windows. The symmetry of the entrance court, anchored by a Doric porte cochère, joins the more romantic features, including a secondary stair tower. The interiors are centered on a double-height entry hall and living room spanned at the center by the second-floor gallery.

Thanks to the interior design vision of Miles Redd and David Kaihoi, each room becomes a new experience. And the landscapes of Edmund Hollander seamlessly integrate the outdoor living spaces into the land’s natural beauty, which includes peaceful ponds, riding trails, and a striking ravine.
